Isothermal Sealing Systems
RJR’s low cost Semiautomated Sealing System (ITS) offers an affordable sealing solution for ease of package assembly. This system is capable of process cycles as short as thirty seconds. It uses a patented isotherm package seal process which eliminates leaks caused by pinholes or blowouts, and controls the X, Y and Z locations of lid to package.

ITS Semiautomated Sealing System
The ITS Semiautomated Sealing System offers an affordable sealing solution for the lower volume fabricator.
The ITS is capable of sealing a wide variety of lid and package combinations - lead frame substrates in a multi-up array, or singulated parts.
The installation is easy (using quick connect fittings) and the process cycle is straightforward and operator friendly.
The ITS system is designed to handle multiple package designs. This is accomplished by changing the custom designed inserted plates. RJR designs customer tooling to fit the customer’s package design, thereby allowing a single ITS system to handle numerous package configurations.

The RJR standard ITS model 400 and 500 (5″x5″, 4″x8″, 6″x8″, 10″x10″) includes one set of custom design plates, a transfer tool and loading plate, and a two-day use and maintenance seminar at RJR’s factory. At the customer’s election, a seminar can be given at the customer’s facility for an additional charge of the cost of RJR’s out-of-pocket travel expenses.
The ITS system guarantees repeatability, even with part height differences.
The ITS electronic control modules are field serviceable and completely programmable in the customer’s factory. In our factory, the complete process parameters are pre-installed for the customers parts to obtain 99% Yield, up to 500 UPH, 0.003 tolerance, with maximum process repeatability.
Utilizing RJR’s Snap Cure material, a customer can obtain a completely sealed and cured package within four minutes.
