ITS Parts and Supplies

One of RJR’s primary goals is to reduce the cost of parts being supplied to our customers by the elimination of non-value added cost incurred in the manufacturing process. A major non-value added cost is the cost to package the part, such as in a tray. By using RJR’s automatic demounter the customer can save money and put an end to packaging in a tray.

We can save the customer the tooling cost of the tray, the cost of the tray, and the extra non-value added labor to: (1) remove the part from our manufacturing format, (2) put the parts into the tray, and (3) the customer’s labor to remove its parts from the tray. This can amount to a large saving, especially for glass lids.

By the use of our standard demounters, the customer can automatically remove the parts from our shipping format (tape and reel or ringframe) and either deliver the part to the operator, or have the part delivered to a ITS transfer tool. An operator removes the custom transfer tooling for the demounter and in one step transfers all of the lids into the ITS.
